As I mentioned in the news section of this blog, I will be at Kirribilli market this Saturday. It's on from 8am to 3pm.
I will be there with 2 of my friends.
One of them will be selling homewares from her town Fukushima. As you might know, Fukushima was one of the area which was badly affected by the earthquake and nuclear power plants.
My friend is trying to support her hometown by selling fashion accessories and homewares made of cotton called Aizu Momen. It is striped designed cotton fabric dyed with indigo, originaited around 1643 in Fukushima.
My other friend will be selling lovely hand woven jewelly pouches and hats for baby. I don't have a photo of it but pouches are in a shape of macaroon. It looks so realistic that it looks almost eatable!
We will be on either gravel or green area on the market. Hope it will be a nice sunny day!
Information of the market is available here.

Apologize & News
There is nothing worse than cancelling a stall at the last minute.
That causes the loss of meeting potential customers. And that's what happened to me last Saturday.
As everyone in Sydney knows, we had such a wet week last week. I knew it was going to be sunny at some point on Saturday but I couldn't tell when.
The weather was still very wild on Friday so I cancelled a stall for Kirribilli market.
And it became sunny much faster than I thought!!
I managed to book in for the last Kirribilli market for this year on the 17th of December so hope to see you all there!
In a mean time, please do your Christmas shopping on my website or at shops where I sell some of my products!

Christmas Shopping Time!!
I was in Melbourne last week, visited friends and looked for more shops where I can sell my products.
A friend gave me the Christmas pudding so I don't have to bake one this year! In fact my oven has been broken so I couldn't bake one anyway.
I will be at Kirribilli general market this coming Saturday. I will be sharing the stall with a friend who sells plants so please look for a stall which sells plants and Japanese fashion accessories.
Hope weather will catch up! It's been very wet in Sydney.

Kirribilli fashion market on the 11st of July
I will be holding a stall at Kirribilli market on this Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
It's my first time to hold a stall so I have no idea if people might be interested in my products or not.
I love what I offer so hopefully many people will like it too!
I will be selling as many products as I can display on the table and also second hand clothes on the side. I'm curious to know how many people will purchase new Chirimen Gamaguchi. (A photo above) They come in many different colours!
And I hope to make sales of Nishijin Gamaguchi too. It's made of silk which is only available in my town Kyoto in Japan.
Please look for a stall with lots of Gamaguchi, pouches and bright Teddy Bears. I will be displaying my business card as well.
See you on Sunday!

Love towards fashion accessories and gifts from my town
Everytime I called up or walked into stores to see if they were interested in selling my products, I was often asked if I made the products.
And I always felt bit embarrassed to say no, it's not made by me.
But finally I realised I shouldn't feel that way.
I import my products from my town Kyoto in Japan and sell it hear. Most of them are handmade and some of them are machine made.
I wish I could make it but first of all, I'm not handy.
Secondly, my products are made by very skilled people in Kyoto so I won't be able to make it anyway unless I trained myself for over 10 years.
I should believe in what I sell and hopefully people will like it.
I have changed what I sell at Beehive gallery in Newtown and also at Sylvia Chan in Paddington. I'll be at the next Kirribilli market on the 11th of July.

Hope to meet lots of people at the market!!
